  1. Clean your baby’s new teeth every day. When the teeth first grow up don’t use tooth brush on them, rather clean the teeth by rubbing them gently with a clean wet washcloth. When the baby have grown of age use child’s toothbrush. Make sure you purchase the one for babies.
  2. Babies under 2 years of age shouldn’t use toothpaste. Use water to brush their teeth.
  3. Make sure your baby drinks water after sucking your breast. This can leave milk sitting on the teeth and can cause cavities that are known as baby bottle tooth decay.
  4. Your children should limit the way they eat sugary food and snacks. It is advised that thry eat foods like fruits, cheese, and vegetables. Children should not eat candies and chew gum.
  5. Take your children to the dentist regularly for check-up. Children at the age of 1 are allowed to see a doctor for teeth check-up.
  6. Lecture them how to take care of their teeth properly and its importance.
