  1. Burj Al Arab Hotel

    The Burj al-Arab (Tower of the Arabs) is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the third tallest hotel in the world. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to mimic the sail of a ship. It has a helipad near the roof at a height of 210 m (689 ft) above ground.

More so, The Burj al-Arab Hotel looks like a sail that is filled with wind as it prepares for its journey. It is an iconic building in Dubai that is set off the coast on a man made island. At night, the hotel lights up and stands out against the Dubai skyline.

Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest structure in the world since topping out in late 2008. Construction of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004, with the exterior completed five years later in 2009. The primary structure is reinforced concrete. The building was opened in 2010 as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai. It is designed to be the centrepiece of large-scale, mixed-use development.

The decision to construct the building is reportedly based on the government’s decision to diversify from an oil-based economy, and for Dubai to gain international recognition.

The building was originally named Burj Dubai but was renamed in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates,The Burj Khalifa is a building that looks like it was plucked from a science fantasy movie and placed in downtown Dubai. It is the tallest building in the world and it is definitely worth exploring.

Dubai Creek is a saltwater creek located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was previously extended to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary but as part of the new Dubai canal it extends through to the Persian Gulf. Some sources say that the creek extended as far inland as Al Ain, and that the Ancient Greeks called it River Zara.

The Dubai Creek is also surrounded by some of the oldest markets and buildings in the city. The area has been expertly preserved and it shows off its local atmosphere all year round. Jumeirah Beach Residence ( JBR) is a 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) long, 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) gross floor area waterfront community located against the Persian Gulf in Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a residential development and contains 40 towers (35 are residential and 5 are hotels). JBR can accommodate about 15,000 people, living in its apartments and hotel rooms. The Project has 6,917 apartments, from 900 sq ft (84 m2) studios to 5,500 sq ft (510 m2) penthouses.

However, the Walk, as it is more commonly known, offers luxury accommodations side-by-side with the simple pleasures of life. There are luxury hotels, high-end condominiums and several miles of beach for you to enjoy on The Walk.

The Dubai Mall is a shopping mall in Dubai and the largest mall in the world by total area. It is the nineteenth largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown complex, and includes 1,200 shops. In 2011 it was the most visited building on the planet which attracts over 54 million visitors each year. Meanwhile, the access to the mall has provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in April 2009.

Moreover, Dubai Mall is much more than just a premium shopping center in one of the most luxurious cities in the world. It also has world-class attractions such as the Dubai Mall Aquarium to amaze guests from all over the world.

Palm Islands are three artificial islands, Palm Jumeirah, Deira Island and Palm Jebel Ali, on the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Creation of the islands started in 2001. As of November 2014, only Palm Jumeirah has been completed. This island takes the form of a palm tree, topped by a crescent. After completion, Palm Jebel Ali will take a similar shape. Like Palm Jumeirah, each island will be host to a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers and will add a total of 520 kilometers of non-public beaches to the city of Dubai.

In Dubai, a market is called a souk. Dubai Gold Souk or Gold Souk (is a traditional market (or souk) in Dubai, UAE. The souk is located in Dubai’s commercial business district in Deira, in the locality of Al Dhagaya. The souk consists of over 300 retailers, most of whom are jewellery traders. According to estimates, approximately 10 tons of gold is present at any given time in the souk. It is bordered to the north by the Dubai Fish and Vegetable Market and the Deira Corniche near Baniyas Square at Sikkat al-Khali Street which is in close proximity to the Deira Bus Stand. The Dubai Gold Souk is 5 minutes walk from the Old Souk marine station.

Gold Souk means that the Old Gold Souk is the oldest gold market in the city. It only makes sense that you would want to take home a golden treasure from one of the richest cities in the world.

Mall of the Emirates is a shopping mall in Dubai. Developed and owned by Majid al-Futtaim Properties, it opened in November 2005 and is located at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed road. The multi-level shopping mall currently features more than 630 retail outlets, 7900 parking spaces, over 100 restaurants & Cafes, 80 luxury stores and 250 flagship stores.

It has a total gross leasable area of 255,489 square meters. It also hosts family leisure activities including Ski Dubai (the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort and snow park), the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and Magic planet, one of the largest indoor family entertainment centres in Dubai Another excellent shopping attraction is the Mall of the Emirates. On top of its exclusive stores, the Mall of the Emirates also has snowy ski slopes inside that can be as high as 1,300 feet.

    The history of Dubai is alive and well in the Bastakia Quarter. This is the oldest part of the city and it is a maze of old stone buildings that include some very nice shops and cafes. Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood village was destroyed to make way for the development of a new office complex. The remaining houses were mostly used as warehouses or accommodation for foreign laborers. In 1989 Dubai Municipality directed that the remaining parts of Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood were to be demolished.

Rayner Otter, a British architect, came to the area and made extensive renovation in the house where he was staying. Rayner started a campaign to preserve the area, and wrote a letter to Prince Charles who was scheduled to visit Dubai that year. On his arrival Prince Charles asked to visit Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, and explored the whole area with Rayner Otter. During his visit Prince suggested that Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood should be preserved and the demolition of Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood was canceled.
