What Is Facebook Two Factor Authentication?
The two-factor authentication is an extra security feature which can help you protect your account. This is in addition to your Facebook password. This makes it a “TWO” factor security setup. When you set this up, you will be required to enter a special code anytime you try to log into your account.
How Does Facebook Two Factor Authentication Work?
This is very simple. When you set this up, you will require your password and a special code before you can access your Facebook account. That is to say, when you type in your password, a special code will be sent to your phone number to allow you access your account. This is very important.
The importance of this is that it prevents unauthorized access to your account. So, when someone tries to log into your account from a phone or computer network, Facebook will send you a code. If you aren’t the person trying to access your account, the person won’t be able to access your account.
This is a very strong security setup. So, no one will ever have access to your account ever again without your permission. So, how do we set this extra layer security up? Stay with me.
